We have arranged to have a Guest speaker at our next Retirees meeting, to be held on Tuesday February 21St.
at our hall : 140 Hunt St. Ajax at 1:00 pm.
Our Guest is Sergeant John Keating from the Durham Police.
The Topic is a very important one and that is... Seniors Abuse which takes many forms. Sergeant Keating is from the Vulnerable Persons Unit, and speaks on this subject from his many experiences dealing with this touchy subject.
We invite all our retirees to attend even those who may have heard our speaker at the last Health and Wellness Fair
held at Local 222. Sergeant John is excellent in his delivery and somehow makes his presentation entertaining, engaging,
and shocking, but most importantly promotes discussion on this very serious issue.
