Local 1120 is truly the Heartbeat of the Algoma District in Northern Ontario
We are the members of the CAW - Canada Canadian Auto Worker's Union. An organization of thousands of members united in the struggle to improve the lives of our members, their families, and the communities in which they live. An Amalgamated Local with approximately 1230 members working in Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Emergency Medical Services, Retirement Homes, Armoured Transport, and Union offices, in Elliot Lake, Thessalon, Sault Ste. Marie and Wawa.
