CAW Local 114 Pride Committee

CAW Local 114 works in conjunction with the CAW West Coast Pride Committee.
The CAW Westcoast Pride Caucus is a group of CAW activists from many Locals in BC. Our goal is to promote the visibility, rights, responsibility and acceptance of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered brothers and sisters in the workplace, in our union and in the community.
The Pride Caucus is involved in many activities, which include: outreach and educational events in our union, by co-sponsoring events with the CAW National Education Department, activism in the workplace, organizing and participating in community Pride celebrations with other unions’ activists, as well as providing a safe place to meet and discuss equity related issues.
The caucus meets monthly at the CAW Union Hall, 326 12th Street in New Westminster.
