CAW Local 144, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, celebrated its 60th anniversary in the spring of 2004. As of 2007, the Local represents approximately 440 members in 8 different workplaces. The members work in manufacturing, hospitality, and transport sectors of the economy.
Our local is also active in the community, working with local community groups on a variety of projects including food banks, soup kitchens, and the United Way.
