ADJUSTMENT CENTRE NEWS

As many are aware, CAW Local 1967 is operating an adjustment centre. The centre is a place for laid off employees of the former Boeing Toronto to get help as they prepare to re-enter the job market in search of new employment. For many of these employees who are members of CAW Local 1967, this is a new adventure. This is the first time they find themselves unemployed in as many as 30 years for most of those affected.
To help with this transition CAW Local 1967 has opened and staffed an adjustment centre since May of 2005. It is located at 969 Derry Rd. E. #110, Mississauga, Ontario L5T 2J7. This is in the northwest Corner of Derry Rd. & Tomken Rd., just east of Hwy 410. The centre’s hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am-4:30pm.You can contact the centre by telephone at 905-564-6288 or 905-564-6602. The fax number is 905-564-3225.
The centre will not be open forever, so take advantage now
