PepsiCo Foods formerly Quaker Oats, the employee numbers are approximately 510 CAW members. We became chartered members of the Canadian AutoWorkers on November 27, 1996 and employment at this facility has continually grown.
We manufacture Granola Bars and Breakfast Cereals.
Examples being, Quaker Oats Chewy Bars, Aunt Jemima Pancake, Muffin and Cookie Mixes, Captain Crunch, Life Cereal, Harvest Crunch Cereal, Oat Squares, Muffets, Corn Bran etc.
The Mill at this facility processes 70,000 tons of Oats per year which provides farmers from both the Western Provinces and Ontario, a market for their crops.
