We are the only CAW local in the pulp industry
Local 219 of CAW represents 246 workers at AV Nackawic. And 45 workers at Prelco, Edmunston.
Members of Local 219 produce hardwood pulps used in the manufacture of various pulp based products. Our production is sold to both North American and foreign markets.
We are the first,and currently the only, members in the pulp industry to join the CAW.
