CAW Local 222 has a proud history of community involvement. Here are some examples of the agencies that Local 222 supports.
|
The United Way of Oshawa-Whitby-Clarington-Brock & Scugog
The United Way was created in this community 65 years ago. With the ongoing government cutbacks, many of the agencies the United Way supports would not survive without our help. The United Way of Oshawa-Whitby-Clarington-Brock & Scugog helps 40 agencies, which provide more than 200 programs that assist more than 80,000 people throughout our local communities. A link to the United Way is included in the Labour Links section of this website. You can also contact the office at 905-436-7377.
