CAW Local 3005 RHTF delivers benefits
During the last set of negotiations CAW Local 3005 and Bristol Aerospace agreed to establish a fund to provide members with health benefits after retirement. The funding formula is based on a cents per hour worked by active members. The money is contributed directly by the Company into a trust fund. Benefits covered include prescription drugs, an extended health care plan, and ambulance and semi-private hospital care. Since April 2003 the fund has provided approximately $9000.00 in direct benefits to members. The fund covers retirees since April 1, 2002. There is no deductible involved but it is tied to the Manitoba Pharmacare Plan |
