CAW Workers at Bristol Aerospace manufacture aircraft components for various customers such as Bombardier, Rolls Royce, General Electric, Airbus and Pratt & Whitney. Most recently Bristol has started manufacturing components for the F35 Lightning, also known as the Joint Strike Fighter, which we are hoping will be the start of great things for our plant.
Prior to 1991 when this Local was chartered by the CAW, we were members of CAIMAW Local 5.
