New Community Partnership with Trafalgar School
CAW Local 302 will be partnering with the Trafalgar Public School to provide a Breakfast/After School Homework Program for the students. This will offer an opportunity for the children to receive one on one assistance with their studies while enjoying either a light breakfast or a healthy afternoon snack.
We are also looking for a few volunteers for the “Stand by Me” mentoring program. This program requires the volunteer to spend one hour per week with a child selected by the school doing a variety of things. You may spend the time reading a book, enjoying conversation or perhaps shooting some hoops. If you are interested in helping to enrich the life of a child please contact the Local 302 office for information.

CAW Local 302 Recreation Committee
CAW Local 302
Recreation Committtee has been active in many fundraisers and supporting important issues in the community such as new equipment for hospitals to supporting the Childern's Hospital in London.
The committee has been a supporter of Heart and Stroke with thier annual dance held at CAW Local 88 in February every year. The committee has been a proud advocate for Violence Against Women by conducting the annual "Take Back The Night" December 6th Montreal Massacre Memorium.
