Hallmark Housekeeping Services workers ratify new Collective Agreement
On July 14, 2007 the workers at Hallmark votted on a tentative agreement. It was accepted by 91%.

Hershey Employees Ratify Contract Extension/Closure Agreement
In late May the employees of Hershey in Smiths Falls met to vote on a tentative agreement. The result was 96% in favour of accepting the agreement as reccommended by the negotiating committee.

Weston Bakeries fined for death at Chrissa
Weston Bakeries Ltd. was fined $215 thousand for the death of Kim Douglas Warner. Mr. Warner was a member of Local 462 at the Chrissa Bakery in Orillia.
Weston's closed the Chrissa plant in September.
